Medio 1960 there was a shortage of antlers and mosk ox horn, so The Royal Greenland trade(KGH) imported some horns from Africa/Asia to keep the carvers busy.They also imported a lot of Spermwhale tooth from the Anarctic whale hunters.
This Tupilak is carved in one of those horns.
